MAINTAINING YOUR CREDENTIALS

To maintain your Alpine Official certification you must do the following

1. Renew your USSA Alpine Official Membership each season. This includes completing SafeSport education, background check, and avalanche awareness
2. Attend Alpine Officials Update and Review Clinic. This is required every other season, except for RAs and TDs whom must attend a review clinic every season.

If you are interested in advancing to different levels, you should also keep track of each event you work using the Alpine Official's Activity Record. You can use the USSA Member Lookup tool to view the USSA history of events worked.
