NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEMBERS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023, TO ELECT NEW NHARA PRESIDENT AND VOTE ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO BYLAWS 

NHARA will hold a Special Members Meeting at the PSU Welcome Center (hockey arena), on September 11, 2023, starting at 6:30 PM.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect a new President and to elect two at-large members to be trustees of the Board, and to vote on proposed amendments to the bylaws, which are being prepared by a NHARA Bylaw Committee made up of, in alphabetical order, Rebecca Bell, David Edry, Andrew Gannon, Jason Guilbert, Arnie Huftalen, Bev Oliver, Matt Purcell, and Scott Wilkinson.

NHARA has obtained legal advice from an attorney who specializes in 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, of which NHARA is, and consistent with that advice and the current NHARA Bylaws, all Members are welcome to attend, but attendance will only be in-person, with no Zoom type connection. Pursuant to Article XIII of the Bylaws, only members whose membership is current 30 days before the vote are allowed to vote. That means a membership application must be filed and dues paid on or before August 12, 2023, in order to be allowed to vote. You can register online, using the NHARA website through the following link, NHARA Membership and Race Registration Information (nhalpine.org) . Only current Members who are 18 years of age or older on the date of the meeting, September 11, 2023, will be allowed to vote.

A NHARA Board of Trustees meeting will be held immediately after the Special Members Meeting.

Please share this information with any NHARA Member you know who might be interested on attending but be sure to let them know they need to register by August 12, 2023, if they wish to vote.
