NHARA will hold a Special Members Meeting at the Plymouth State University Welcome Center in the Common Man Room (2d floor, front, of hockey arena), on September 11, 2023, starting at 6:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is: (A) to elect a new President (in alphabetical order, David Edry or Matt Purcell), (B) to elect two (2) at-large Trustees, and (C) to vote on the proposed Amended Bylaws that are posted here, on the NHARA website, with this notice, along with the NHARA Articles of Agreement, to which the current and proposed Amended Bylaws make reference.

In order to make it easier to understand what changes are being proposed to the Bylaws, the proposed Amended Bylaws contain several Review Notes that summarize what changes are being proposed and what impact the proposed amendments will have on the current Bylaws. As you will see when you look at them, there is an introductory Review Note at the beginning and then each Article contains a Review Note, some merely saying, "No changes," and others explaining the proposed changes and impact(s) to the current Bylaws. Additionally, the introductory Review Note contains a link to the current Bylaws.

Consistent with the advice of counsel, and with the current Bylaws, (1) all Members are welcome to attend the September 11, 2023, meeting, (2) attendance will only be in-person, with no Zoom type connection, and (3) only members whose membership was current on or before August 12, 2023, and who are 18 years of age or older on the date of the meeting, September 11, 2023, are allowed to vote.

The proposed Amended Bylaws were drafted by a NHARA Bylaw Committee composed of, in alphabetical order, Rebecca Bell, David Edry, Andrew Gannon, Jason Guilbert, Arnie Huftalen, Bev Oliver, Matt Purcell, and Scott Wilkinson. After several weeks of work, negotiations and edits, every member of that Bylaw Committee supports adoption of the proposed Amended Bylaws. 

A NHARA Board of Trustees meeting will be held immediately after the Special Members Meeting ends.
