The NHARA Board of Trustees is excited to announce that Fred Turton has accepted the newly created position of NHARA Youth Education Coordinator.

This new seasonal role, to provide support for all NHARA Youth Clubs, was envisioned by the NH Children's Committee and endorsed by the Board of Trustees. 

Fred brings a wealth of experience to the position.  Recently retired from 45 years of full time coaching, Fred is enthusiastic to share his knowledge and provide guidance for our varied programs, athletes and coaches here in New Hampshire.

When accepting the role, Fred was clearly pleased.  “The commitment of our NH U10, U12 and U14 programs to provide quality training and racing opportunities for young alpine athletes is, and always  has been, a cornerstone of the U.S. ski racing community.  Since arriving in Campton in the fall of 1973, NH became my home.  To be given the opportunity to share my experience and to continue to learn, with dear friends and new acquaintances here in NH makes me really happy.”
